I found this video yesterday and subscribed to the channel. I find this video very uplifting and very powerful. Beautiful and wonderful at the same time. There isn't a ton of video's like this out there and I'm glad that this person uploaded it. The Roman Empire was defeated, not buy swords, but by new religion that managed to overcome and change the hearts and minds of Romans and moving them away from what their ancestors practiced.
It was gradual cultural genocide as well as religious genocide. One that we know to be morally wrong and against everything that we hold dear today. However we must also understand that it can happen again and it's happening in other parts of the world. Here in America religion, or the belief in anything, is still being mocked. And it's not those that just live their lives, but don't believe in anything, it's the 'in your face' mockers.
Those that want to put you down and make it sound as though their not. The worst part is that most will say 'well if your offended by what someone says, then your faith isn't strong.' Christians mocked Roman religion, made arguments against it, and destroyed it. Injected reason, or their reasoning, into it. And then killed you if you didn't convert fast enough for them. Thankfully the gods have taken care of them upon their deaths and we don't have to worry about them.
But we do have to worry about this new wave of mockers. Loud and annoying Atheists that see the declining numbers of Christians in churches and believe that their pounding into your head reasoning is why the number has gone down. They worship Science and demand that it replace religion as the only truth that's out there. Science can answer all, they say, you don't need a divine god, or even the gods, to fulfill your life. And if you mock them, your looked down upon.
The truth of the matter is that most are returning to their ancestral religion and not leaving religion. Or their worshiping at home and refusing to be apart of something that's all about money. I'm proud to be one of those that have returned to the religion of my ancestors and I do hope that you enjoy this video.
